It is my desire to bring your vision to life.
As an artist, I work in many mediums—paint, clay, computer drawings, and illustrations.
No matter which medium I choose, my mission is to inspire and bring a vision to life. Often the clients do not know exactly what they want the piece to look like. As we begin the discovery process, our goal is to go on a treasure hunt to uncover their vision. I love the process of carefully listening to my clients. To me, my greatest skill is not in how well I can form clay, paint, or illustrate. Rather it is in how well I can capture the vision of my clients.
One of the sculptures in my portfolio is —Harmonie Reflecting—it was a commissioned work for public display in Atlanta. It was created in collaboration with an interior designer as a centerpiece for the Entrance Hall of the Summit Brookwood Apartment Community and was designed to reflect the harmony and beauty of this new community in Midtown Atlanta. The client was so pleased with the work that I was invited to present the sculpture during an unveiling and opening party at the Brookwood properties.
One example for a multimedia illustration project is called How Nicky Kicks His Cold, which started out as a book that I wrote and illustrated as a fun and fanciful way to teach children how the body’s immune system fights off germs and heals itself. The project grew to include a short animated DVD, a music CD, and a play. Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta put this book in their library and invited me to share this story with their patients and their parents.
Together with Emory Children's Hospital I currently develop an interactive, tablet- base deducational children’s book to serve the unmet need of a health education for young children suffering from Sickle Cell Disease.
I welcome the opportunity to use my skills to bring your envisioned artwork to life.
Thank you for your consideration.
