Writer/Journalist experienced in all forms of writing , from short fiction to screenplays, in the different genres, including children, mystery and thriller.
Ann Melrose is a storyteller. Her love of reading led her to “borrowing” SF books from her step-dad's collection and read them at night after everyone was asleep. Of course, she wasn't above creating a little bit of horror fiction to scare her younger brothers into submission. She has also been a writer, editor, journalist and artist. She's written short fiction in a variety of genres, from children's stories to fantasy and horror. She met her husband in college and married just before he joined the Navy. Their travels took them all over the U.S., as well as to Cuba and Spain. Both enjoy travel and going to sci-fi/fantasy conventions. She's been a panelist at several, including Dragon*Con, StellarCon and PhilCon. In February 2015, she will receive her Bachelor's in Creative Writing from Full Sail University.
