Hello there! I am a French to English translator based in Cisne, Illinois. I have a BA in French Studies and Global Studies as well as a Certificate in Translation from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I studied for a combined 6 months in France (1 month in Arles, 5 months in Paris) and have since fallen in love with the French language.

I have over a year of professional experience translating fashion descriptions, sports descriptions, marriage and birth certificates, gaming prompts, marketing texts, and even industrial transportation websites! Needless to say, I am willing to tackle any challenge that you can throw at me. I have experience using CAT (Computer Assisted Translation) tools like SDL Trados Studio, Memsource, MemoQ, and Google Translator Toolkit. I have also studied translation theory and can apply techniques I've learned in college to make smart decisions while translating your texts.

Work Terms

Very flexible working hours but will respond to emails from 9 am to 10 pm. I offer quotes on a per word or hourly basis. My rate for French to English translations is $.08/source word or $20/hour.
