I am the kind of editor who finds creative fulfillment in making sentences structurally accurate. To me, it's a kind of art. An art, however, with certain rules.

I have been seriously studying and practicing writing and editing for the past five years. I received my MFA in creating writing in 2013, and while a graduate student, I worked as associate editor on a number of journals. I am new to Guru, but I have experience copy-editing a wide variety of materials, from advertising proposals to dissertations and self-help books.

As a copy-editor, I will work with you to ensure that your sentences are accurate and that your intended message reaches your audience. As a line editor, I will work with you on creative content, language, and style. I'm also available if you're writing a novel and want to talk about plot.
