Software engineer/data scientist/mathematician
I’m an experienced machine learning and software engineer interested in finding algorithmic solutions for real-life applications and working on scientific and industry problems. I find joy in learning new things and always try to be up-to-date with the latest achievements. I hope for productive collaboration with a person or company who will find my skills helpful.
I have a Master's degree in applied mathematics and computer science after graduating with honors.
Working in the project-based company for 8 years: first as a software engineer and then as a head of the data science department I've learned a wide range of technologies. I've grasped special aspects of different OS (Linux, Windows, OSX), how to control them and methods of cross-platform development. I've worked on code and memory optimization, developed software using different databases (SQL/NoSQL), and become familiar with numerous libraries like boost, OpenCV, etc. I've participated in projects where python, R, Matlab, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and other languages were used. A team under my supervision and I completed over 150 projects. The number of department employees reached 21. I’ve obtained skills not limited to algorithms and data structures, modeling, simulation, optimization problems, data scrapping and cleaning, exploratory and descriptive analysis, image and signal processing, NLP, custom ML (including deep and reinforcement) models development, integration of 3rd party tools, web services development for integration with other components. I had to refine requirements with the clients, research scientific and technical publications, source codes and models in public sources and their commercial alternatives for potential reuse, plan development stages, estimate the time to complete them, perform code reviews. I also have experience in tutoring both for school and university students from my employment at university and as an advanced mathematics club teacher.

My usual rate is 25$ per hour.
I'm available for work 40 hours a week: Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 8 pm Moscow time. We can agree on other special time for urgent problem solving or discussion in rare cases.
I'm fluent in English and open to a voice-based communication when necessary but prefer to have project requirements and all the important materials in the written form to have some reference point when working and in order to avoid missing something.
