Bringing happiness and hope to children with my work

Writing, illustrating and designing for children is what I do best. I design other products and graphics too... but child centric projects is what I love. I have worked with - artisans to create handcrafted toys and games for a retail brand; space designers to create a toy store that has inclusive play areas for children in wheel chairs; product and industrial designers to create interactive play spaces. I have designed floor graphics that make the entry point of a school fun thus reducing the teary farewells of little toddlers as they leave the side of their parents to go to their classrooms. From school logos to flags, to floor games and school bags - I also have experience in writing and illustrating over 35 early learning books for children in USA and India.
Appu the Yogic elephant was a story script I created for a TV series that aired on Pogo at prime time on Saturday mornings.
A book I illustrated for Puffin - Jaldi's Friends - was listed for the White Raven Award in 2003.
I was on guru.com from Dec.2006 till June 2007 designing T shirts for a children's Dance School and for an ice-hockey team - both in USA. I did other jobs too. Then I joined a design studio and life got hectic with no time to free lance. Now once again with lockdowns and salary cuts I am back to work online.

Work Terms

My hours of operation are usually flexible. Terms of payment are dependent on the complexity of the job. I promise on time quality work. I have always enjoyed an honest and healthy work relationship with those I have worked with, some of whom have gone on to become friends as well.
