I come from a design engineering background, and have experience of coming up with brand new designs during my freelance projects. These projects required understanding of form & function and to communicate effectively through sketching and 3D models to meet the customer's criteria. I also have hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment, and have held a quality engineering position where I was involved with New Product Introductions to companies such as JLR and BMW. During my time as a quality engineer I also had the chance to strengthen my project management skills. My experience from different departments has helped me to become a more versatile designer, and to consider quality and manufacturing capabilities during the design process instead of just focusing on the aesthetics of the product.

I am looking to take on new challenges and freelance projects using SolidWorks.
