For the past ten years, I was the Controller of a digital marketing company that grew super fast. Moving from website development to mobile applications to social media, their business evolved, lost clients, gained new ones, shifted strategy several times to suit market demands and it was a roller coaster. I brought order to the accounting process, automated manual tasks, ensured GAAP compliance and internal controls and the audit reports suddenly lost all negative remarks and adjustments! Then the business hired a wonderful CFO and together we managed a Private Equity deal, helped implement Netsuite, purchase a smaller New York agency and then he relocated. A contract CFO was brought it for the brand name since the investors wanted to sell and I did all the ground work on the transaction with the investment bankers. The fact that the financial statements and processes were or high quality and we went through due diligence with flying colors is testament to my ability. IBM purchased the company in 2016, gave me a retention bonus to move all financial processes over to their BPOs outside the U.S and we parted as friends in July 2018.
Prior experience of mine includes Director of Finance at Scotts Miracle Gro, Manager Finance at American Signature Inc., a furniture manufacture & retail company managing their China & Mexico factory financials and couple years as staff accountant in public accounting.
I hold integrity and ethical standards very high and will do my best for any client that values the same. I am not a number cruncher. I am a business partner.

Work Terms

I can work normal business hours on US Eastern Standard time and am flexible if need be. I prefer working remotely but am willing to work at client sites if within the Greater New York area. I can work on hourly rates or fixed fee based on the project.
