Experienced Writer, Editor, Proofreader and Content Manager

With plenty of years spent editing and proofreading theses, dissertations, research papers, academic presentations, articles, blog and website content for friends, family and, colleagues on goodwill basis, I have gathered up quite a bit of experience to help you in getting your content into a state which gets the point across and reads well too. I also have more than 10 academic publications in National/International journals & books of repute, apart from experience in creative writing and, content management.

By virtue of an educational degree, I am a qualified Social Worker with a background in Economics. I have about 4 years of professional experience, teaching at a State University, and working with NGOs functioning in the field of Health and Rural Development in India. All these opportunities have made me adept at handling various administrative, documentation and field duties. As a University Assistant Professor, I have taught about 10 subjects at PG level and performed other academic duties relating to my Department. I have also mentored various batches of students, so I'm told that I'm a people's person and very easy to work with (humble brag).

About my writing/editing skills, I have no certification to attest to my abilities. I was just really inspired by The Joker from 'The Dark Knight' when he said "If you're good at something, never do it for free...".
I prefer using British English, although I've worked on projects which specifically required the use of American English, which wasn't an issue. I have been mindful of timelines, due dates, minute details and instructions provided by the people I have previously worked with.

Work Terms

I prefer working from Monday through Friday. 1000 to 1800 house (IST). This is flexible and can be changed as per the needs of the job on offer.
