It's a real problem today for businesses that are being left behind because masses are increasingly converting to brands who ADOPT and PROMOTE "sustainable practices". These are not some hollow claims. I have studied environmental sciences in both BS (hons) and Mphil. My BS research was on estimating the climate change in a metropolitan city over the last two decades by analyzing the image data using remote sensing and GIS methods. I made precise calculations of the vegetation index (NDVL), urbanization/built-up index (NDBI), land-surface temperature (LST), and designed the land-use/land-cover (LU/LC) map for accurate results.

During my Mphil research, I worked on mitigating the multi-contaminated soil pollution of Cadmium and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH), particularly in the agricultural field, and enhance the nutritional value and crop yield by introducing a unique approach of crop rotation - rotating Italian rye grass with maize. A calculated combination of compost and biochar application, along with growth promoting and petroleum degrading bacterial species, was also applied for optimum results.

I am currently working on polishing my organizational skills by taking professional courses that equip me with swift strategies to estimate carbon emissions from various business practices using the GHG protocol. I am working on a project right now to design and implement sustainable agriculture practices that replace the current ones by conducting a thorough carbon footprint analysis.

I want to contribute fully towards the development of a sustainable future by exerting all my knowledge and skills towards the design and implementation of sustainable practices, either in the form of writings like developing sustainability reports, crafting engaging blogs, writing copies that drive action, or as a professional guide like environmental consultant and project manager, that helps the needle move.
