Senior Business Systems Analyst

Ariel Mercene has 21 years of IT experience, 17 years doing Business Systems Analysis and 8 years of it is doing lead role. He started his career as an Analyst Programmer for 2 years and also handled a Project Manager role for a year.

His industry and business application experiences includes Government Accounting, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Financials & Human Resources, Life & Non-Life Insurance, Banking - Loans Origination System and U.S. Healthcare System.

He also has experience leading a Data Migration project for the Land Transportation Organization IT project in Philippines.

His technology experiences are Client/Server, Web Based, Web Services, Batch Processing Technology and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).

He also has experiences in customization and implementation of ERP system for Financial and HR domain.

His experiences in software development methodology are Waterfall Model, Rational Unified Process Methodology (RUP) and Agile Methodology.
Since 2003, most of his projects are using the Unified Modeling Language (UML) documentation. In addition, he has knowledge and experience in CMMI process and documentation.

He was one of the pioneers in Stradcom Corporation who develop and implement the Land Transportation Organization (LTO) IT project in the Philippines as Business System Analyst.

He has been part of multinational companies such as Affiliated Computer Services, Xerox, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Sun Life Financial Asia Shared Services, FICO Philippines and RCG Information Technology Philippines.

He graduated from AMA University in 1998 holding a Bachelor of Science major in Computer Science degree.
