My expertise in Microsoft Access databases and data analysis is based on my years of working in education policy and more recently for a knowledge-driven company that promotes sustainability. In both of these contexts, I've built databases from scratch by first starting with conceptual requirements. From that starting point, I've managed data input (including importing data in multiple forms, such as excel spreadsheets or Wufoo surveys), generated reports, presented data in platforms like Tableau, Power BI, and YellowFin, and can also generate recommendations from the insight that is discovered.
As important as the ability to produce great work is the ability to keep sight of the people behind projects. Keeping sight of a project's ultimate beneficiaries adds meaning to the end result. Further, I am easy to work with, combining a sense of humor along with the seriousness of getting a job right.
Work Terms
While I have a day job, I am driven to complete projects on time. I work very well from home, and I am transparent about the processes I used to complete tasks. If I accept a job, you will get a full commitment to get it done. What I ask is that a client make themselves available for questions (before and during a project) and to be clear about their expectations.
