I selected Steven based on his portfolio. He assured me of his ability to achieve my project as I described it. He said he would accomplish my goals. I then described the project in detail and Steven set to work. He regularly emailed sketches, drafts and finished views of the work, accompanied by queries about various aspects. I would respond explicitly to each question. Then Steven carefully followed my recommendations, re-sending the modified art for my approval. Steven used advanced program capabilities to accomplish some goals. He also developed some figures from scratch, working extensively through them to achieve remarkable results. His composition skills were excellent and in good taste. He had to study various light effects in nature, then incorporating them into the pixels of the work. I tried to give Steven freedom for his creativity. At the same time, he carefully worked within my specific demands. He understood the objectives of my request. When I approved his final picture, he worked through it again to smooth out every detail. On completion, he explained to me commercial methods for getting the work reproduced. Steven sensed towards the end that I was bucking certain aspects. He reacted by completing his outstanding artistically valid rendition that more than meets all my demands and that will excite all viewers. It is a work that he and I can be very proud of.
