Helping you find your voice!
Hi! I come from a background in food service. Working in that industry reminded me how much I enjoy sitting at home with a good book. Fast food jobs often only expose you to the worst side of people. But, like most areas of life, half the battle is won by a smile. Working in fast food has given me an opportunity to optimize my people skills and learn what people want. The biggest lesson I learned is that most people only want someone to listen to them. Lending someone an ear is almost as important as helping them find their voice.
Finding your voice can mean many different things depending on the setting. It is possible to have an effective voice at your day job, but be unable to communicate outside of work. For some of us, the best way to be heard is to vocally stand up for ourselves. Not everyone is comfortable with that, and it's impossible for some. But one can always find a voice in writing. Knowing what you want to say is critical, but knowing how to say it determines success.
This is what I want to do for you. I would never presume to speak for anyone, but I would love to help you speak for yourself.
