I seek to provide a financial bookkeeping service that helps companies and organisations to be fully aware of their accurate financial position.

With over 25 years of experience as a highly skilled and seasoned bookkeeper, I have developed a comprehensive skill set that spans various industries, enabling me to effectively manage financial accounting.

Throughout my career, I have produced meticulous books of account up to balance sheet and management accounts. My expertise extends to managing monthly statutory returns, including PAYE (personal tax deducted from employees) and VAT ensuring adherence to tax regulations.

During previous tenures I processed weekly and monthly payrolls using Sage Payroll Online. Additionally, I processed customer and supplier invoices whilst maintaining clear and organized records of transactions and ensuring timely payments and reconciliations.

My experience also includes establishing and maintaining computerized accounting systems for clients, facilitating compliance with tax regulations and enhancing financial record-keeping efficiency. I also oversaw the full computerization of a clients books and instituted stock control accounts in Pastel (SAGE), resulting in improved inventory management and reporting accuracy.

My other work skills include Sage, Xero(1 year experience), Excel, General ledgers, Management Accounts, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Bank Statements and Bank Reconciliations.

I am based in Cape Town, South Africa and I am seeking 100% remote positions. I am open to flexible hours if needed.

Work Terms

My general hours are Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 16:00 UCT / GMT. However I am flexible with these hours to accommodate clients in different time zones. My payment terms are monthly by month-end.
