I am a freelance videographer who specializes in documentary-style film production.
Ashley Seering is a senior at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville majoring in Mass Communications with a focus in Television Production. She is a creative writing minor who has experience in journalism and advertising. As an independent producer she writes, shoots, and edits a variety of projects including promotional videos, short films, commercials, PSAs, and documentaries. She was nominated for a professional Mid-America Emmy Award for her PSA "Gift of Hope" in 2013.

Ashley began taking production classes during summer 2011 and has been consistently working on projects ever since. In 2013, Ashley received a student ADDY award from the St. Louis branch of the American Advertising Federation for "Gift of Hope," a PSA promoting organ donation. She won another ADDY in 2014 for "Freedom to Dream," a PSA promoting the importance of freedom of speech. Her critically acclaimed short documentary "Everything Will Be Forgotten" was an official selection at the International Skateboard Film Festival in L.A.,the Big Muddy Film Festival in Carbondale, IL, and the Rider Film Festival in Australia. The film also won an Award of Excellence at the BEA Festival of Media Arts competition.
