I love languages. Be it Spanish, French, HTML, CSS, JS or Italian - I'll learn more than saying "Hello World!" in each of them.
One year ago I didn't know what HTML stood for. Now I'm leading an offshore team of web designers, developers and content writers. I've done it all - from coding an awkward email creative to taking content marketing campaigns from negative to 77% margin.
My strong side is curiosity and admitting the fact that I don't know everything. Instead of delegating all the work to my team, I get my hands dirty in the field. Because a good manager should be able to cover for each of his team members. That's what digital marketing is all about: never-ending learning and resistance to failure. And that's why I will never cease to find something exciting to learn in this industry.
I used to hate data. I didn't know how to write Excel formulas and numbers used to look like Chinese to me. Now I can't live without them while optimising campaigns. I believe AB testing is one of the essential components to understanding your audience, personalisation and business success. Every morning I am amazed to look at the data that proves my hypotheses sooo wrong.
That's how I get my campaigns to work. I observe and analyse them like mountains that I like climbing.
