Over the period the company implemented dozens of e-commerce projects. Based on this expertise and input from small and medium companies, the Avactis shopping cart software was developed, which allows such companies to start online business rapidly and without heavy investments. In the year 2012, the company changed ownership and was taken over by Hummingbird Web Solutions Private Limited. Since July 2012, Hummingbird has got all the copyrights and licenses of the Avactis software. The company’s headquarters are located in India. The current Avactis team includes highly skilled software developers, web designers, customer support engineers, sales and marketing professionals, who create and support Avactis e-commerce solutions for our partners and users worldwide. We are ardent fans of all things Open Source and love going off and exploring different Open Source Lands. Right now, we find ourselves in the midst of WordPress, Joomla and now Avactis.
