Linking Art and Function to Make Life Beautiful and Efficient.
Born and raised in South Dakota, Avery grew up dancing, playing the violin, and excelling academically. She continued her training at the University of Wyoming where she graduated with a B.F.A in Theatre and Dance in 2017. Since she graduated, she has performed professionally as well as established herself as a choreographer. During her time in school, she took many health science and pedagogy credits- this is what instilled her passion for education. She has taught at dance studios and choreographed for many youth theatre productions.
Additionally, Avery has always had a passion for organizing homes. Since she was a little girl, she would help friends and family members clean and organize. As an adult, she is always helping others reorganize and minimize their spaces. While she was in college she worked for a busy family-run retail store. One of her responsibilities was organizing the store and creating new displays- her manager and coworkers relied on her for this. Organizing spaces allows Avery to use her creative side as well as her logistic (academic) side. It is the perfect way to combine art and function. She feels having a minimalistic/organized environment can help reduce stress and promote a joyous life.
Avery is thankful for the many opportunities she has had thus far to grow as an artist, and share her love for art with those around her. As Eleanor Roosevelt once said, "The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams,” and Avery looks forward to continuing on this journey, watching more of her dreams become a reality.
