Translator, Researcher, Writer
I was born in Cairo, Egypt. I have a BA in English Language and Literature. In my undergraduate years, I studied English, English and American literature, and translation from Arabic into English and from English into Arabic. Since I graduated in 2010, I worked as a freelance translator (mainly general translation). I also worked as a teacher of English language as a second language for a year and a half. Then, I had a career shift and I am currently Researcher and Copyeditor in an Egyptian NGO concerned with producing knowledge about women and gender studies in Arabic. I have a diploma in Cultural Development. I am also currently doing my MA in Translation Studies.
Work Terms
