Work Terms
Work Terms for Transcription Services
1. Hours of Operation:
- I am available to work Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (local time).
- Weekend and after-hours services are available upon request and may incur additional charges.
2. Payment Terms:
- Payment Methods: Payments are accepted via bank transfer, PayPal, or other mutually agreed-upon methods.
- Billing Cycle: Invoices will be issued upon completion of each project or milestone.
- Payment Due Date: Payments are expected within **14 days** of receiving the invoice.
- Late Payments: A late payment fee of **2% per month** will apply to overdue invoices.
3. Turnaround Time:
- Standard delivery for transcription services is within 72 hours for files up to 1 hour in length.
- Files exceeding this length may require additional time, but I will ensure the delivery schedule is clear upon agreement.
- For rush orders (e.g., 24-hour or 48-hour delivery), additional charges may apply, depending on the urgency and file length.
4. Revision Policy:
- One round of free revisions is included in the service.
- Further revisions, based on additional changes from the client or beyond the initial request, will incur extra charges depending on complexity and time required.
5. Confidentiality and Data Security:
- All client files are treated with the highest level of confidentiality.
6. Client Responsibilities:
Clients must provide clear audio/video files for accurate transcription.
Specific instructions regarding formatting, speaker identification, or other important details should be communicated before work begins.
7. Termination of Services:
Either party may terminate the service agreement by providing a 7-day notice.
All completed work up to the date of termination will be delivered, and payment for services rendered will be due.
