About

I am a dedicated blogger and software developer whose true motivation is customer service and client satisfaction. I specialise in creating products that suit your needs.

Ayim William - Software Developer, & Blogger

I’m Ayim William, a passionate software developer with a strong foundation in JavaScript, React, Python, Django, Nextjs and full-stack development. Over the years, my love for coding has grown from a curious hobby into a fulfilling career. I’m dedicated to not only building user-friendly software but also helping others unlock their potential in tech.

Work Experience:
As a Technical Mentor at Moringa School, I’ve had the privilege of guiding aspiring developers, helping them navigate complex topics like JavaScript, React, databases, and Python. I believe in creating a collaborative, growth-focused learning environment where students feel empowered to challenge themselves and develop real-world skills. One of my proudest achievements has been watching my students go from beginners to successful developers in the field.

Alongside mentoring, I’ve worked on various projects, including the "FIND A FARMER" web application, designed to connect farmers with buyers. The project, built using HTML, CSS, and React, is one of many that demonstrate my ability to bring ideas to life. I’ve also gained extensive experience with Redux, Next.js, and other modern tools, constantly adapting to emerging technologies.

Blogging Experience:
In addition to software development, I’ve been an avid blogger for over 10 years, maintaining my site babamboga.wordpress.com. Over the years, I’ve shared insights on technology, personal development, and coding practices, engaging with a broad audience. My blogging journey has taught me the importance of clear communication, continuous learning, and staying up-to-date with trends—skills that I also apply to my development work. Whether it’s writing in-depth tutorials or reflecting on my experiences as a developer, blogging has been a rewarding outlet for both creativity and knowledge-sharing.

Values & Approach:
Attention to Detail: I believe that every line of code matters, and I’m dedicated to delivering high-quality, polished solutions.
Continuous Learning: In an ever-evolving field, I stay committed to learning new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance my skills.
Collaboration & Mentorship: I thrive in collaborative settings and love helping others succeed. My mentoring philosophy centers on growth, problem-solving, and knowledge-sharing.

Hobbies & Interests:
Outside of tech, I’m a football enthusiast and the captain of LXG United, a local team. Football teaches me the importance of teamwork, strategy, and leadership. I also love chess, watching movies, cooking food and so much more. I am what many would consider the cult of personality.

Work Terms

Hours of Operation:

I am available to work Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM (local time). I can accommodate flexible hours depending on project deadlines or specific client needs. For urgent tasks or tight deadlines, I am open to working outside of these hours, but prior notice is appreciated to ensure availability.

Payment Terms:

For both blog work and software development gigs, I prefer to establish clear payment terms upfront. Payment can be made via PayPal or bank transfer. For larger projects, a 50% deposit is required before work begins, with the remaining balance due upon completion and approval of the project. For shorter, one-time tasks (like articles or smaller software fixes), I generally request full payment upon project completion. I also provide transparent invoices for all work completed.

Preferred Communication Style:

I prioritize clear, timely, and collaborative communication throughout any project. I am comfortable with communication via whatsapp, Slack, Google Meet or project management tools like Trello, depending on client preferences. Regular check-ins and progress updates are essential, and I’m open to feedback to ensure the final product meets or exceeds expectations. For blog and article writing, I typically prefer written communication to clarify style preferences, tone, and subject matter in advance. For software development, I value detailed project specs and requirements to avoid misunderstandings and deliver high-quality work.
