Professionalism, Punctuality and a Personalized Approach

I am a freelance French English Translator from Kisumu, Kenya. I have a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. I also hold an advanced certificate in French (Language and Linguistics) from Université Paul Valéry in Montpellier, France. I have been working as a full-time translator from January 2016, although I had been engaged in translation work on a part-time basis from 1991. I am a registered translator with the African Development Bank and the African Virtual University. I worked as a Consultant Linguist at K & A Certified Public Accountants, a private firm of international auditors based in Nairobi, Kenya, from April 2017 to March 2018. I assisted them with linguistic and other related administrative duties, mainly for their French-speaking clients. I carry out French translation work on a voluntary (unpaid) basis for The Gospel Translations (USA). Most of the work I have carried out are for individual clients and organizations within the country (Kenya), though I have also carried out translation work for different organisations and agencies from many parts of the world, such as:

I also carry out translation work from Swahili to English. I am a book translator, and I have so far translated 9 Christian and 2 fiction books from English to French, using the Tektime / Traduzione Libri platform. I have also translated 1 book on the subject of Life Sciences from French to English, using the same platform. I received 5-Star ratings for each of the jobs.
