I'm a tinkerer with a passion for finding creative solutions to problems - particularly ones that involve mathematics, data analysis, and predictive modeling.
My expertise is in R, but I have experience working with a wide variety of languages including Python, SQL, Excel/VBA, and all things web related. I don't consider myself an expert in programming or statics but I'm good enough in both areas to be a highly effective consultant.
I have a pretty good grasp on business and human behavior. I've worked as the Senior Data Analyst for a large deductible workers compensation carrier for roughly five years. I'm also the founder of GormAnalysis and the creator of Trinalysis, so I have a good feel for what types of analyses and models have a real effect on a business's bottom line.
