Doug is the founder of Bend Law Group, PC, a law firm focused on advising small businesses and startups. He is also the General Counsel for Modify Industries, Inc. and tIFc LLC. In addition, Doug is a Legal Mentor for The Hub Ventures Program and the Young Entrepreneur Council and a Business Advisor for Pacific Community Ventures. He is also a member of The Corporations Law Committee of The State Bar of California and is a Legal Advisor for Deal Flow SF, an outsourced startup accelerator. He has been featured in numerous publications, including The Washington Post, The Huffington Post, Fox Business, MSN, Inc. and Forbes and was selected to the 2013 and 2014 Northern California Rising Stars lists for having demonstrated excellence in the practice of law. Raised in Omaha, Doug is a graduate of Drake University where he graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with his B.A. in Political Science and History. He also received an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Nebraska and his law degree from Georgetown University Law Center.
