When I saw his portfolio I immediately rejected 85% of the other candidates. Then he sent me a 10 second demo for the video I was hiring for. I reopened guru.com in my browser and rejected all but one. It was left to Ben and one other candidate. They were only two but I still ordered them from the lowest to the highest bid. Ben came up first. He was asking for $150 ...candidate #2 was asking for $350. I checked candidates $350 demo again. "How is this guy still even here?" Went back to the guru tab in my browser - "Decline Candidates Number 2 Proposal." "Confirm" It was really an absolute pleasure working with Ben. He's an extraordinaire artist and video professional. I was constantly making changes in plans, which, by the way, he never complained about - and still, he managed to finish it on time. If he's still available then, I'll definitely hire him again for similar projects in the future.
