Hello! My name is Benjamin Fluharty and I've always had a passion for computer programming. I started at nine years old and over ten years later, that passion has only increased. As a result, I have experience with numerous programming and scripting languages, as well as Linux administration.
I'm entering my junior year of college at Liberty University studying Computer Science with a double cognate in Software Engineering and Web and Mobile Programming with a minor in Mathematics. Some key classes that I have excelled in are Algorithms and Data Structures, Advanced Programming, and Client-side Programming.
I am a National Merit Commended Scholar, member of Liberty University's Honors Program, and on the Dean's List with a 3.86 GPA.
I am also currently employed by the US Navy as a software engineering intern at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division. This opportunity continues to increase my experience in developing applications that are delivered and integrated into current systems.
Because of this, I do have a duty to fulfill 40 hours a week at this job from 800-1600 EST, I'll still be contactable but can only work on your project from 1800-2200 EST on weekdays and all day on weekends.
