Work Terms

Rates

My rates vary by project. In most cases, my standard rate is $25 per hour.

In the case that my services extend beyond the hours of commitment to fulfill a pre-agreed minimum fee, project flat fee, or bundle or package of services, then my standard rates will apply beyond the pre-agreement. In such a case I will notify my client beforehand.

In the case in which I am paid a retainer fee for my services, I will adhere to the agreement of services set forth by my client and myself. In such a case, my standard rate will apply.

Satisfaction and Refunds

I will strive to provide the best service and product to my client.

The client retains the right to terminate services at any time with no reason given.

I want to practice friendly and ethical business. In any event that the customer is dissatisfied, or wants to terminate services with me, I will quickly attempt to make amends, including a full refund minus 15%.

In the case of a retainer fee, I will refund or forfeit that week’s hours/retainer due minus 15%.


In the case of a retainer fee, payments will be paid; however, payments do not need to follow any certain increments or divisions with the exception being that in the case in which all hours of service fulfilling the balance/retainer due have been completed, the full retainer balance will be paid.

I will provide invoices for all payments for services.

Invoices issued during the course of a retainer will indicate retainer due.


Contracts and Ownership

Situations vary.

There will be a service agreement imparting ownership and copyrights of all ideas and created/written content upon full payment or termination of service.

Disclosure of all ideas and created/written content will not be made in any way to any entity, unless expressly indicated by my client.

Bylines are requested where applicable.


Rewrites and Revisions

I consider a revision to be a change of up to one-third (1/3) of the project. More than one-third in changes is a rewrite.
