Dr. Wang has over 10 years of experience in the areas of program design and evaluation, research methods, quantitative and qualitative analysis, report writing, proposal development, data collection, data manipulation, technical assistance, site visits, program management, and quality control. She has worked on more than a dozen research projects for the U.S. federal, state, and local governments, including both large and small-scale formative and summative evaluation studies involving vulnerable populations. She is experienced with mix-method approaches and familiar with quasi-experimental and Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) evaluation design. Dr. Wang also has content expertise in education, child development, family studies, parenting, mental health, abuse and domestic violence prevention, psychology, and distance education. She has presented seven papers at national conferences as the first author, completed six reports and issue briefs for the U.S. government, won “Best Student Paper” award for designing a domestic violence intervention program, co-authored and translated book chapters, facilitated international collaboration, and had over 3 years of university-level teaching experience. She is highly proficient in SPSS, and has bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese.
