I'm a proofreader and copy editor.
I studied English in college with an emphasis on writing. The university I went to was an incredibly good school with great academics. While there, I learned so much about grammar, punctuation, and the technical details of writing. But the greatest thing I learned was how to communicate. I learned about style. I learned about the power of words. Words have the power to transform our culture. After graduating from college, I decided I wanted to travel the world and go to the furthermost parts of the earth. I spent a great deal of time in Asia, teaching English. I taught other subjects as well, but, for the most part, my students spoke English as a second language. I'm interested in poetry, especially poets from the romantic era. William Wordsworth and Samuel Taylor Coleridge are two of my favorite poets. My greatest skill, when it comes to writing, is grammar. I love words. And, as I said before, I believe words have the power to change the world.
