I'm responsive, accessible and deadline-respectful. You won't find a better editor.
I have carved out a long, rewarding and busy writing and editing career. Although I've specialized in the professional beauty industry, my freelance and contract work has led me across many industries, working in both print and digital formats. I also own Write My Memoirs (writingmymemoirs.com), which helps ordinary people write and self-publish their life stories.
In both businesses, I love helping clients share their thoughts in organized, grammatically correct and beautifully worded fashion. I'm a grammar expert; I designed the course "Good Grammar Is Good Business" and taught it for 20 years at the New Trier eXtension continuing education program. I now offer it online: https://writemymemoirs.com/course/
I also am an admin on the popular Facebook page "Grammar Matters."
I'm a self-published children's book author, too. You can find my highly praised book, "The Case of the Disappearing Kisses," on my websites and on Amazon. Here's a link to a tribute to Vidal Sassoon that I wrote upon his death.

I hold a master's degree in journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism and a bachelor's degree from Hofstra University. I served three elected terms (2005-2017) on my local K-8 school board, rising to vice president for four of those years.
Work Terms
I will communicate however you want - phone, Facetime/Skype, email, Facebook chat. It doesn't matter to me. I am similarly flexible concerning work hours and payment arrangements. I just don't have a lot of rules along these lines.
