Creative Writer. Singer. Curator.
I am a professional writer and editor with a five year degree in arts and law from National Law School of India University, Bangalore. I have ghostwritten a full length autobiographical travelogue, edited a travel Coffee Table Book, and created an artist's catalogue and website, among others. I have written content for varied clients over the years across industries.
I have also worked several years in education/research, having taught public policy and law/governance to M.A. (Development) students, designed experiential education material for
school children, and worked at an NGO run by a current parliamentarian. As part of his election campaign team, I created campaign publicity materials and frequently wrote press notes and articles for the press.
A lawyer by training, I have an impeccable eye for detail, and as a poet-in-the-making, the emotional touch just right for my writing to be incisive and appealing at once. I run a blog on my website bhargaviraman.com. As an avid traveler, I am exposed to various cultures and have no trouble working on cross-cultural matters.
So, if you are looking for someone to be involved in a creative endeavour you are undertaking or write effective pieces, blog posts or articles for publication, I am glad you found me.
I am also a singer, and train in Carnatic classical vocals from my guru Smt. Amruthavalli Sundaram. I maintain an ongoing online archival project of the Carnatic music compositions of my greatgrandmother at: kmsoundaryavalli.com. Any project relating to Indian Classical music, or that requires me to sing, I am up for it.
I look forward to working with you.
Work Terms
I am willing to take up short term projects, and open to considering work hours convenient to us both.
