Working to make singular stories & extraordinary ideas come alive without a single misplaced comma.
I'm a collaborator. I strive to understand, articulate, and clarify the visions of people around me.
After graduating summa cum laude from NYU as an English lit major, I became an ESL tutor, office assistant, math teacher, cheesemaker/cow milker, customer service rep, camp counselor, community college writing consultant, nanny, and kung fu instructor.
Then I realized that chronic curiosity and professional wordsmithing go together quite well.
For the past two years, I've been applying my unique perspectives, analytical skills, and intimacy with literature and language to shape and perfect writing as diverse as business plans and RPG lore. I have a special weakness for projects with a meaningful core and creative bent.
I live in New York, NY, with my husband and a ball of cat.
Work Terms
I am proficient in using Dropbox and Google Docs for collaboration and file sharing, but I'm open to working with new software and methods. I work best with few interruptions and with written communications, so I prefer email, Skype messaging, and Gchat for regular updates. While I keep distractions, including calls, to a minimum during the day, I will return Skype and phone messages before 6:00 pm EST. I work 9 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.
Clear expectations are very important to me. Before we start working on a project, expect to receive a contract/agreement based on mutually acceptable terms.
I accept the following payment forms:
