Unique – I have followed a different path on my lean and leadership consulting journey that has given me a wider range of experience than most. In my 20 years of experience, I have been a servant, leader, temp, operations manager, continuous improvement manager, administrator, manufacturing manager, production lead, and operator. I have been led and trained by some of the best. My unique skill set allows me to mentor others to benefit from my experiences.
Unorthodox – My teaching and training methods fly in the face of normal, dry, and uninspiring methods most commonly used. My unorthodox methods allow me to pursue my goal which is to ensure that what is taught is applied quickly and with passion.
Unconventional – Knowing what works and what doesn’t through trial and error, I have honed my skills to the point where I use an unconventional system you will not find in a book or in a class (yet!) to get results fast. Based on the Toyota Way, Lean Six Sigma, and TWI methodologies, I have taken the best of all worlds to develop my own brand of process improvement that can be applied to any industry of any size and get the results desired.
I pride myself on my “true north” ethics compass. I am not an industrial engineer. I cannot install conveyors to assist in the process improvement. If I know I can help and how so, I will tell you. If I can’t, I’ll let you know that too. I will never over promise, which allows me to always deliver what I said I would do. I will always be bluntfully honest. If after root cause analysis, I find the solution lies in the actions of upper management or, heaven forbid, the President or CEO, I won’t pull punches. I want you to be a better you.
With that said, I will also be honest on where I can help. With over 20 years of training and experience with Kaizen, DMAIC, Leadership Development, Culture Change, Change Management, Six Sigma, TWI and many others of the alphabet soup, I can have an immediate impact on your purpose.
