I will work my hardest to get the best product available.

I am currently a junior at Missouri State University (MSU) pursuing a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. I chose this degree as a means to express myself and to represent businesses and organizations across the country. I also believe this to be a great opportunity to travel and see the world while doing something I love.

I have an overall GPA of 3.23 and have been on the Dean’s list for two consecutive semesters.

I am also the Vice President of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). I was a key figure in getting a foundation for this organization set up at MSU. This organization will help me network and gain life changing experiences.

When I am not taking a class or going to a meeting, I work at Bass Pro Shops as a switchboard operator. At this job I get to speak with customers for the Springfield Bass Pro Shop, corporate clients, and high end executives with the Bass Pro Corporation. This job requires a high level of professionalism, cooperation, and collaboration with my fellow teammates.

I plan on graduating in May of 2015. Once I have my degree I will start working in public relations and continue attending MSU to gain a Master’s degree. I eventually would like to attend graduate school and obtain a Doctorate’s degree, but I believe real world experience to be a priority.

Overall, I am trying to gain the most out of my college career and to gain experience that will be invaluable in the future. Whether these experiences and skills come from my classes, the PRSSA, or my job, they will create prospective careers. However, I know that I can do anything I set my mind to.
