I love to make people FEEL.
I am a professional songwriter who has written songs for major artists as well as had several songs placed in TV/Film. I have also been a touring artist and made my living in the music business for over 15 years now. As of late, I have been exploring other avenues, mainly creative writing, while earning my master's degree in Creative Non-Fiction from Sewanee University of the South. I recently wrote my first screenplay and am in the middle of a year-long audio series that combines narrated short stories with original songs. I am really good at getting to the heart of a story, a person, or a sentiment and wrapping a story around that emotion. In other words, if it is a product you are selling, I can figure out the heart of the people you want to sell it to and help them emotionally connect to that product. I'm very imaginative with developing story lines and have a unique voice that is both poignant and humorous. I know the music industry intimately, am also a well-seasoned traveler having spent over 13 years on the road as a touring artist. I am also an avid foodie and am passionate about finding the out-of-the-way places to try. I have extensive knowledge of how to travel on a budget as well as how to make the most out of every experience.
Work Terms
I'm able to work 3-4 days a week, Monday-Thursdays. I travel some for my other "job" but I can take my computer and work from anywhere. I am open to all ideas, types of work, as long as I feel that my creative skills are being used and I am going to be able to satisfy the customer's needs.
