When you do something do it right, and never say the words "I can't"
30 year old, Navy veteran, married, father of 1 daughter (Amelia) - dedicated and enthusiastic full stack software developer.
From a young age I've been very interested in software development and learned many programming languages as a result.
I spent eight years in the US Navy as an electronics technician where I worked on radars and things of that nature - all the while programming things as a hobby.
Once I was honorably discharged, I enrolled in college to pursue a BS in software engineering. While attending school I began making my own video game for fun. Consequently, I met the owner of a successful software consultancy firm (Architecting Innovation) who was interested in starting a video game division in his company. So I was hired there and worked on an iOS game for a year and released it (Mixies: 2048) to little fanfare. Video games cost a lot of money to market.
After the video game stint, I was hired at Architecting Innovation to work in their bread and butter area - software consulting. I did this for two years, focusing primarily on big data and C# web development for a variety of clients. (http://www.truckdirectmail.com was one large web application that another developer and I built from the ground up.)
After worked at Architecting Innovation I subsequently found even better opportunities at a company called Vision2 (where I still work full time) as a developer. At Vision2 I am a full stack developer, and I maintain and develop very large suite of software applications (including websites, databases, azure resources, a few mobile applications and more).
Aside from my software consulting and development at these companies, I have built and developed a wide variety of applications on my own time so I have experience in many areas.
