Creative Communication and Investigation

My core abilities are:

* Developing alternative perspectives that expose hidden relationships, problems, and opportunities
* Understanding complex concepts and information, and communicating about it in useful ways

For ten years as a technical writer, I managed, developed, and edited documentation for a variety of organizations, mostly involved in technology development. I worked for 15 years as an engineer, testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment (radar, telecommunications, data acquisition, scientific sensors).

In addition, I developed and sold K-12 remedial materials for math and science, including several years of tutoring and running the company. I also helped set up and run two nonprofits devoted to education about space.

Creative projects in my own writing company have included fiction, poetry, music, and blogs while researching and writing about how humanity's population and resource consumption might change in the future.

Work Terms

I generally work 8-5 Mountain Time on weekdays, and prefer to be paid weekly or bi-weekly. I will travel as necessary within the the Denver Metro area.
