Work Terms
At BrainApps, we offer flexible engagement models to meet diverse client needs:
1. Engagement Models
Hourly Rate: Ideal for projects with evolving scopes, billed based on actual time spent. We provide detailed time logs and regular updates.
Fixed Price: Suitable for projects with a clear scope and deliverables, offering budget predictability. We define the scope upfront and agree on a fixed price.
2. Payment Terms
Hourly Rate: Invoices issued weekly or bi-weekly, with payment due within 14 days.
Fixed Price: Payment milestones set at project start, including an initial deposit, milestone payments, and final payment upon completion.
3. Project Management
We use industry-standard tools for tracking and communication. Clients have access to monitor progress. Regular updates and meetings ensure alignment on goals and deliverables.
4. Revisions & Scope Changes
Hourly Rate: Revisions are billed as additional time.
Fixed Price: Minor revisions are included; significant scope changes may require re-negotiation.
5. Confidentiality & Ownership
We ensure confidentiality of client information. Upon full payment, all IP rights, source code, and deliverables are transferred to the client.
6. Termination
Either party may terminate with written notice. Clients will be billed for work completed up to the termination date.
7. Support & Maintenance
