I am a quantitative researcher with experience building predictive statistical models, machine learning, and research designs for marketing, health, government, and management.
My career began back in 2005 when I started working in a health research lab at the University of California, San Francisco in the department of psychiatry while finishing my undergraduate degree in psychology at San Francisco State University. Since that time I have completed a PhD in interdisciplinary psychological science and have applied my research and statistical knowledge in a diversity of consulting projects. Some of my early projects while I was a professor at the University of South Carolina included town re-branding, consumer experience research for the chamber of commerce, and community indicators research for Beaufort County.
I currently serve as a biostatistical research scientist for a major health insurer where I build predictive statistical models, integrate diverse data resources, and engage in research to address consumer engagement and health.
