Solutions Through Simplicity: Break it Down to the Small Work Parts and Get it Done

Coder since 1985, I cut my teeth on a TRS-80 Color Computer II w/ Extended Basic; a whopping 64K of RAM. Since then, I have favored tight, resource-aware code with a small footprint that only affects what I need to affect, whenever possible. Staying out of the way of core code and kernels, while achieving the results I want, has been a central theme of my code-monkey journey.

I have spent the past 2.5 years working almost exclusively in creating custom coded solutions for business needs for an agency's clients, expanding Magento API and APIv2 capabilities, correctly migrating Magento EE data to a Shopify store, converting flat-category mega-menu driven sites into layered-navigation driven sites, creating more robust reports in the Magento Admin Panel, designing a workable approach to the problem of multiple-address shipping that does not break Magento and does not issue multiple charges against cards in rapid succession, and many, many other working solutions to age-old Magento problems.
