Budding Editor and Proofreader Seeking Experience for her Dream Job

I'm a 23-year-old college student living in the heart of New Hampshire. I've been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. Reading is my passion, it's what I'm best at and I want nothing more in life than to spend my days doing what I love. I want to some day be a novel editor, but doing other projects as a freelance editor and proofreader seems like the perfect way to get started in my dream career.

Work Terms

I work a part time job and study as a full time college student, so it's a simple way for me to interact at home or on the go without missing calls along the way. My hours are therefore very changeable and inconstant, but I am a hard and dedicated worker. My main priority is the happiness of each and every client I work with, so payment is not expected until the job is completed satisfactorily. Since I am a beginner in the world of freelancing, I'm keeping my pay rate at the bare minimum. These jobs, to me, are more about gaining experience and enjoying what I do than about a large salary.
