I am a driven technically experienced Design and Manufacturing professional, with a lifetime of experience in a number of technically related fields.
I spent much of my professional career at Krell industries Inc., an elite manufacturer of high end audio/video electronics. Guided by my father, and world famous audio designer, Dan D’Agostino, I started out assembling products from the ground up, later becoming head technician, service manager, technical support, and eventually National sales manager. In 1994 between my time(s) at Krell, I spent 8 years in the Electronic Contract Manufacturing industry, as well as working a short stint in the Multimedia Content Authoring and Distribution industry. During this time, I attended the University of New Haven to enhance my skills with courses in electrical engineering and physics.
As a local professional electric bass player for many years, I later opened a small self-owned recording studio named the Bully Sound Company. My time working with young musicians and veterans alike in the creation of vivid recordings coupled to my experience in live music, recording/production, and music playback, has greatly enhanced my ability and "design vision".
I returned to Krell in 2004 nearly 10 years later to help streamline the manufacturing process on the forthcoming Evolution product series. In the summer of 2009 myself and Dan D'agostino along with his partner / ex-wife Rondi D'Agostino were no longer an acting part of Krell Industries.
In 2010, my father and I formed Dan D'Agostino Master Audio Systems.
After the initial foundation and early development for DD, I ventured on and established the Bully Sound Company LLC (BSC). The vision was to utilize all of my combined skills refined over time, and develop powerful yet graceful Class A products that would excel in audio performance and to that end carry on a legacy my father started 30 years before.
Today, BSC is 3 companies. “BSC Audio” designs, engineers, and manufactures premium Class A audio components, “BSC Design” offers contract design work and “BSC Mfg. ”offers light contract manufacturing.
Work Terms
I have a flexible work schedule but prefer to work from my location in Milford CT the majority of the time. I am not opposed to on-sight visits or meetings however. I charge an honest rate for honest work, I don't cut corners and expect the very best from the product I produce. I can be reached easily by phone, Skype, email etc... I work several long hours and pride myself on meeting deadlines. On a large scale job I prefer some payment up front to make sure everyone is on board and has some skin in the game. I expect payment to be promptly received when job is completed. I am responsible for quality work and if for some reason the work isn't as expected will work and correct it to your expectations.
