Grew up in Dublin, Ireland. Attended Athlone Institute of Technology (AIT) completing a BSc. in Polymer Technology. Moved to New York, followed by Chicago, IL. Started to work at Baxter Healthcare, developing medical disposables for the Renal (Dialysis) division. Completed a MS in Chem Eng. (Polymer Science) at Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT). In 2001, completed a MS in Product Development and Design at Northwestern University. Self taught software developer specializing in the Angular and React frameworks. In 2018, completed a bootcamp (April-Oct) in Data Science at Northwestern University.
