Art for creative people.
My work takes a critical view of social, and cultural issues. where I deconstruct folklore, and myths producing familiar visuals, arranging them into new layered pieces. Theses themes are combined together and feature mundane culture, juxtaposed with whimsical designs and features empowerment.
I have been creating different mediums of art since I was young, At the age of 8 one of my drawing "Dog Girl," a Monochromatic Self Portraits was accepted in the Laguna Beach Art Competition in 1999. At 18 I took Second place for a Wire Head Sculpture in the Orange County School 10th Annual District Art Show and later receiving The Student of the Year Award in Visual Art for the School Honor Awards Ceremony. In August of 2016 I was Recognized for my work in the community by the Santa Ana Arts Coalition and recieved an Arts Achievement Award.
I have since been studying Art History, and have been involved in community outreach, working with children in my local school districts with arts and crafts lessons meant for advancing education in endangered youth. My work has gone from the school district to the streets of the artist district .
My work has also been charitable for a large Non Profit Company in Orange County where I created exclusive Pop Culture Theme Art, that helps creates jobs opportunities for people with disabilities and other barriers with the opportunity to achieve their highest levels of personal and economic independence.
