Passionate about good stories
I am an award winning photojournalist and editor. I served 18 years in the U.S. Army as a journalist and have published thousands of articles in military and civilian publications. I have written stories from war zones to small towns, covered sporting events including the U.S. Olympic boxing team and NFL games. I am an avid reader and have vast interest from science, history, fiction, to theology and religious studies.
I play bass guitar and love to create music as well as read and write about it.
I am also 100% total and permanent disabled by the VA. As such, I can't do a lot of traditional work, yet my mind is still very sharp and I have a good eye. Since being forced into early retirement from the Army, I have been helping several writers in Baltimore with their work and decided to stretch out and offer my experience to others. As such, I don't need a lot of money (VA and Retirement cover living expenses), so I am willing to work on selective projects for less than the going rate. If your project interests me then I'm willing to work to help you tell your best story.
