Writer, Editor, Strategist for Higher Education and Nonprofits

Working in higher education for over 20 years, I bring a record of impact and results. Writing and editing for a wide range of clients across campus, my experience includes fundraising, student recruitment, research, and academic and student programs.

I have extensive experience with executive communications, reports, grants, news, copywriting, web content, press releases, public relations, social media, blogs, newsletters, and magazines.

I've written on a wide array of topics, translating complex research into easily digestible and engaging articles for a wider public. Topics I've covered include science, health, education, technology, student life, profiles, medicine, politics, business, social science, and humanities.

I am also an experienced communication strategist. I've worked with senior administrative and thought leaders to craft highly-effective strategic plans, utilizing a multi-channel, integrated approach to move institutions forward and upward.

In my spare time, I like to read and write fiction, follow politics and world affairs, hike, and listen to music.

Work Terms

My work hours are flexible as is the payment arrangement. I will work with the client on what is best and most convenient for them. I will work hard to give the client 100% satisfaction, going above and beyond.
