I'm a Chartered Accountant from Mumbai with over 7 years of experience in finance, mainly in investment banking and private equity. I was lucky to jump into the IB world early on at Intensive Fiscal Services, which is known as the Top Leading firm for Consumer & retail sector.
These days, I mostly consult on large investments in the PE/VC space at Arther & Andersen, leveraging my extensive experience in financial due diligence, investment banking, and private equity deals. My time at KPMG India, one of the Big 4 consulting firms, helped me develop an extensive technical skill set that's been invaluable in financial analysis and modeling.
I've had the privilege of gaining commercial insights directly from my interactions with top managements of clients.
Preparing databooks, crafting financial models, analyzing cash flows, performing various substantive tests like Sales-to-Cash, Vendor-to-Pay, ageing analysis, inventory valuation, etc. has been a significant part of my work. I also delve into analyzing profitability and sales based on channel margins, geography, customer segments, and price-volume-mix relationships. Presenting all these findings through detailed project reports—both comprehensive and Executive summaries for KMPs—is something I take pride in.
