Dan Jackson has overseen more than a dozen factual series. Most recently, he was supervising producer on CBC's This Is High School (nominated for a 2017 CSA), History Canada's Ice Pilots (winner of the 2016 CSA), Executive Producer on Discovery's Highway Thru Hell. He has run series for Discovery US (Monster House), Animal Planet (Confessions: Animal Hoarding), Discovery Life (Diagnose Me), WeTV (Twister Sisters) and Nat Geo (L.A. Hard Hats). Before moving to Vancouver in 2010, he was the in-house showrunner for Thom Beers at Original Productions in Los Angeles. Prior to that, he had an extensive career as a producer, director, writer and editor in Los Angeles and Washington DC.
