Ms. Morris is a licensed patent attorney focusing on legal and business issues at the convergence of Law, Science and Technology. She has over 25 years of highly diversified legal experience. She represents innovators seeking to create and protect intellectual property. As a patent attorney, her background relates to electronics, chemistry and life sciences across a broad sector. As a business attorney, her clients have included startups and fortune 100 companies. As a litigator, she focuses on intellectual property protection and general commercial liability matters. She was awarded a Trial Skills National Session Program Diploma from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) in 2017. She is a Certified E-Discovery Specialist credential granted by ACEDS (since 2016). She is a co-author of The Science & Technology Guidebook for Lawyers (American Bar Assoc., 2014), and co-author of "Crowdsourcing Biological Specimen Identification-Consumer technology applied to healthcare access" (IEEE Consumer Electronics Magazine, 2015). She has served as adjunct at Keiser University providing instruction on a variety of law related topics, including law office technology and torts. She is admitted to practice in Florida, Massachusetts, and before the US Patent and Trademark Office.
